Daily Schedule

For a detailed daily schedule, click here to download a sample schedule. THIS ISN’T THE 2017 SCHEDULE so please don’t expect the exact same schedule for the 2017 camps. The schedule will be similar, but not exactly the same. Here are some of the highlights of each day of camp.


  • Meet with your training group for the first time
  • Easy run on the Boulder Creek Path
  • Guest speaker
  • Coach Jay presents on exercise physiology and training
  • First meal in the dorm (trust us, it’s the new dining hall, and it's great)


  • Training run on the Dowdy Draw trail in South Boulder
  • Learn By Doing session
  • Dinner at the Dark Horse
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Practice skits for Skit Night


  • Fartlek workout at CU Cross Country course (The Buffalo Ranch)
  • Hike to the top of Green Mountain (where you can see the Continental Divide)
  • Women’s running issues and men’s running issues (break-out discussions)
  • Skit Night


  • Easy run around Boulder
  • Learn By Doing session
  • Final presentation by Coach Jay
  • Walk to Pearl Street pedestrian mall; shopping and/or dessert


  • Long run in North Boulder
  • Check-out
  • Closing ceremonies
